Marbled Leaf Garland!

I just LOVE this time of year! And I love it so much more now that I have littles to enjoy it with! It's so fun watching their little faces light up with excitement whenever they see the holiday decorations pop up! It's just such an exciting time for the kiddos! We took the boys up the canyon a week ago to look at all the changing colors and they were in awe! The leaves were turning all different shades of red, orange and yellow and it was just lovely! After that adventure I wanted to make some sort of autumn craft involving the beautiful changing leaf colors!
Then I saw this beautiful Marbled Leaf Garland from Createlaughlearn.com and I knew we had to make one!

This craft was SO much fun to make with the boys, we didn't want to stop and we ended up making like 20 leaves!
This craft is that much fun.. I promise!

Supplies Needed:

- Shaving Cream
- Red, Yellow and Orange Paint
- Spare credit card
- White Cardstock
- Paper Towels
- Pan
- Hole Puncher
- Twine
- Wooden Kabob Skewer
- Spatula

Directions:

Step 1: First, I printed leaf templates on Cardstock and cut them out.

Step 2: We then took the pan and began by spraying a good amount of shaving cream into it, then spreading it even and flat across the pan with the spatula.

Step 3: Next we took the paint and squirted it all around the shaving cream. Then we took the skewer and made all sorts of swirls and designs into the shaving cream.

Step 4: We then placed the leaf templates into the paint/shaving cream mixture and pressed down making sure we got the mixture on all parts of the leaves.

Step 5: Next we placed the wet leaves onto a paper towel and used the card to scrape off the shaving cream. Then we set the leaves aside to dry.

Step 6: Once they were all dry we hung them up by string over the fireplace!

It looks so warm and cozy in our living room now and we love it!
