Craft Stick Spider Web

Craft Stick crafts are always a hit over at our house. There's so many craft options using them. I often find my 5 year old sitting at the table working on "his own" project using some craft sticks! I love when the littles get creative and make up their own crafts!

So, with our obsession with craft sticks and Halloween, we decided to make these fun Spider Webs!

Here's what you'll need to make these:

- Craft Sticks (we used the wider ones)
- Paint
- Glue gun
- Yarn
- Pastic spiders

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: I first helped the boys arrange their sticks into a star shape and hot glued them together.

Step 2: Then the boys got to painting their sticks. We used black, orange and white paint to keep with the spooky Halloween theme!

Step 3: We let the sticks dry outside for a bit, it didn't take long, then we got to weaving our yarn through and around the sticks. I recommend helping them tie the first piece of yarn around a stick tight and then gluing it in place.

Step 4: When they were down weaving their web, I hot glued the last piece tightly onto the stick to make sure it wouldn't come unraveled. We then glued our spiders on and tied a long piece of yarn onto the top for hanging the web.

That's it! They looked awesome!

I love how everyone is different and unique... just like real spider webs!
