These turkeys are perfect to make this time of year with all the leaves changing colors and Thanksgiving coming up! The littles had a great time exploring the yard looking for all the different sized leaves they wanted to use to make their turkeys!
We ended up sticking our leaf turkeys onto brown paper bags to make Thankful bags! Our plan is to write on a slip of paper one thing we are THANKFUL each day in the month of Novemeber. Though, I think we will keep it going as long as the kids want to!
Here's all you'll need to make these adorably easy Leaf Turkeys...
- Leaves (different sizes)
- Glue sticks and hot glue gun
- Googley Eyes
- Orange Construction Paper
- Red Tissue Paper
- Brown Paper Bags
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Once we found the perfect leaves, we began hot gluing them together with the larger one on the bottom.
STEP 2: We then glued on all the face pieces (googley eyes, beak, red thing)
And if you'd like to make the thankful bags, just glue your turkey onto a bag and your'e set!
