DIY Fizzing Artwork for Kids

This fizzing art experiment is a fun way to combine art and science for the littles!

My boys LOVE this kind of craft and they squealed with excitement when I told them we were going to create some artwork using baking soda and vinegar! They KNOW it will be a blast! And I know it will be messy, but totally worth it! Ha!
What I love about this craft is the supplies needed I already have on hand! So no rushing to the store with 3 crazy boys to pick anything up- woohoo!

Supplies Needed:
- watercolor paper
- medicine droppers
- food coloring
- baking soda
- vinegar
- baking sheet
- aluminum foil

Step 1: Cover baking sheet with foil and place watercolor paper on top. The sheet will help with the mess - a little ;) Also, I do recommend using watercolor paper because it will hold up better than printer paper.
Step 2: Place some baking soda in a bowl and have the littles scoop and spread some on their papers.

Step 3: Now measure about 1/4 cup of vinegar into a few different bowls and pour some drops of food coloring into the bowls. Stir to mix in the colors.
Step 4: Now the fun begins!! Hand your kids the droppers and have them go to town sucking up the vinegar/food coloring mix and dropping it onto their baking soda covered paper! They will be so excited to see the fizzing start! It is pretty darn cool!

Oh this was such a fun art craft! I hope your littles love it as much as mine did!
