Ok, aren't these darling?!
When I first saw these popsicle stick snowmen I knew my boys would love to make them! And they sure did! Look my daddy snowman has a mustache... I couldn't resist :)
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
-large popsicle sticks
-white paint
-paintbrush
-black permanent marker
-glue
-black,orange and a few other colors of felt
-buttons
-scissors
-ribbon
-hot glue gun and sticks (optional)
STEP 1: Paint the popsicle sticks front and back.
STEP 2: Cut out the top hat from the black felt and glue on popsicle stick once paint is dry.
STEP 3: Draw on your snowman's eyes and mouth :)
STEP 4: Next, cut out and glue on the carrot nose
STEP 5: Cut out a long piece of colored felt to use as a scarf. Wrap around snowman and glue on.
STEP 6: Now whip out those buttons! I already had this gigantic bag of buttons in my craft stash with all different styles and sizes so it took the kids FOREVERRR to decide which buttons they wanted to use (sigh). But it's always fun to see which one caught their eyes.
Glue your buttons on.
STEP 7: Cut and glue on your ribbon onto the back of your snowman. We ended up using a hot glue gun for this part because we wanted to make sure the ribbon was "going to stay on forever" to quote my 4 year old!
STEP 8: Last step here! Cut out and glue on snowmans arms. I wasn't originally planning on doing this step but the boys insisted and I'm happy we did because they look so cute!
And your'e done! Aren't these cute?! We sure think so!
Thanks for stopping by!
